Come and spend your Christmas Break in the beautiful Vale of Usk, South Wales, where you can relax and let our friendly & well trained staff deal with the stressful preparations for Christmas. We have single rooms available for a very small supplement.

The leisurely programme that we have planned for your Christmas Break will leave you free to enjoy the peace of our beautiful Monmouthshire countryside.

 

Christmas Eve, 24th December

Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine and a brandied mince pie. After a relaxing afternoon, with perhaps, a stroll in the town or along the nearby country lanes, join us in the bar for canapés and a pre-dinner cocktail and meet your fellow guests before we move into the restaurant for a candlelit a la carte meal.

 

Christmas Day, 25th December

In the morning a full English breakfast and a gift from the hotel and staff awaits you in the restaurant. Christmas lunch is a traditional and elegant 4 course meal with something to tempt every palette. In the evening there will be a special buffet which can be eaten at your leisure.

 

 

Boxing Day, 26th December

A late Brunch will be served in the restaurant and bar leaving you free for the rest of the day to visit some local attractions such as the nearby market towns of Monmouth & Abergavenny or simply stroll around the local riverside walk.

On your return there will be a delicious afternoon tea of homemade scones and fresh cream served in the lounge and bar. A candlelit four course farewell dinner will then be served in the restaurant between 7.00 – 9.00pm. We have arranged for some musical entertainment after dinner.

After a hearty full English breakfast we bid a fond farewell our guests and wish them well for the New Year

Costs for 2009 include all of the above meals & entertainment
and are based on 2 people sharing a double/twin room.

3 nights £339 per person
4 nights £389 per person

There is a £10 per person, per night, supplement for Four Poster Rooms. Single rooms have a £10 per night supplement & some family rooms are available, please call reception for a family room quote.

Please Note:
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per room is due at the time of booking and full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival. We recommend that all guests take out travel insurance to cover the package cost.
