There are an impressive 20 different circular walks that can be taken from the hotel and these follow country lanes, river banks and the numerous footpaths and bridleways that abound the area and take in some of the finest countryside in Wales.  For the real walking enthusiast Usk is located in the heart of the 48 mile Usk Valley walk which will take you from Caerleon, following the meandering Usk river right the way into to the Black Mountains to Brecon.

All our rooms are en-suite and it would be hard to find better walking accommodation in South Wales. We can cater for groups of walkers and have meeting room accommodation available for those important planning meetings.

In addition to our popular guided walking breaks we also offer Self Guided Breaks for those preferring the flexibility and the independence of choosing their own routes and pace.  An ideal break for couples, groups of friends or families.

Our single centre break can be for from 2 – 5 nights.  The price includes:
